Look back at National Apprenticeship Week 2020

We had a fantastic range of events and activities happen across Careers Hub Luton for #NAW2020.

The Big Assembly with Lea Manor High School

We started off National Apprenticeship Week at Lea Manor, where the school hosted the Big Assembly.
This was a very exciting event for a local Luton school as we streamed the event to around 40,000 viewers.
If you missed the broadcast, you can find it on demand here: https://www.bigassembly.org/naw2020-register-on-demand/

Sami, Apprentice at KIER

Apprenticeship Video

Later in the week, we teamed up with film-maker Greta Zabulyte to create a video sharing the experiences and career journeys of local apprentices. We were able to film apprentices at Vauxhall, KIER and TUI.
We hope the video can be used as a useful tool in classrooms around careers education and pathways, and will share it as soon as it is finalised.
